WineWorks was born out of my desire to establish a food-processing plant in regional New Zealand that added value to primary production. I wanted to manufacture a product that had its roots in the soil.
And I can imagine no better crop to do this to than wine – the passion of the growers and winemakers who we work for , and the extent to which we can add value to the grapes that our growers grow, right here in New Zealand is something that we all feel proud about – wanting to do our bit to make value for New Zealand.
I have been blessed to work with great teams, and great wineries, across the country, getting regional New Zealand onto the tabletops of people all over the world, who can see and taste what we are about. Now THAT is rewarding!
