On June 27th, Toitū held a webinar all about product lifecycle emission hotspots in FMCG.

The webinar was tailored to prospective businesses who are starting their own carbon reduction journey, covering topics such as supply chains, consumers, and regulations to list a few.

Our Group Quality and Compliance Manager, Sophie, who is also our Toitū reporter, presented in the webinar on how taking action to reduce emissions is realistic and a possible thing to achieve.

Sophie shared how we reduced our emissions by 45% in the first three years with Toitū, as well as giving simple, everyday tips and tricks on how we can all watch our carbon footprint. Our next focus is looking at our Scope 3 emissions; collaborating with supply chain partners on how we can make further improvements in this area to help reach NZ Wine’s goal of carbon zero by 2050.
