At the Air NZ Wine Awards in Wellington recently, the Wineworks Sparkling Trophy went to . . . Lindaeur Rose. This award to this wonderful wine was acepted by Jane from Lion, in the photo attached. This will certainly put the cat amongst the pigeons, and ensure that our sparkling winemakers know that the bar on price/quality matrix is set very high!
You will note that Tim’s wings have been clipped somewhat in the attached photo – Don’t ask!
