WineWorks  established this week an upgraded plant on the site previously operated by Portavin in Penrose, and will operate as WineWorks Auckland. This is the culmination of our goal to achieve through scale and efficiency the means to keep our costs low enough to offer our customers sustainably low prices. We think its our job to create ways to keep your bottling more efficient.

This acquisition in the Auckland market is a strategic addition to the other three WineWorks plants based in Hawke’s Bay and Marlborough, providing our customers an independent, national choice of where to undertake their bottling and storage. We will retain the same management team in Auckland (so none of our teams will be taken away from their current jobs looking after you, our customers), and customers can expect day to day operations to be very much business as usual.  Wine Works has also offered employment to all Portavin Auckland staff.
